What I'm looking for

I'm looking to coordinate youth development, public-interest or international-development programmes where I can support implementation, partnerships, monitoring, communications and community engagement.

I've coordinated youth development, substance-abuse prevention, mental-health and international-development programmes across Soweto YMCA, Nelson Mandela Bay YMCA and the African Youth Development Fund.

In my current role at Soweto YMCA, I coordinate programme set-up and implementation for Y-Justice and related youth activities, from work planning and volunteer allocation to scheduling, reporting and stakeholder materials.

I've worked closely with schools, facilitators, community partners and programme leadership to keep activities aligned, participant needs supported and deliverables on track. My experience includes monitoring, research, records management, presentations, digital communications and event coordination.

I'm also a Young African Leaders Initiative Civic Leadership Programme alumnus and implemented Umgabulo The Demokrasi to encourage youth participation and engagement. Through YMCA South Africa Y Glocal, I've supported youth training and community projects across partnerships in South Africa, Denmark and Cameroon.
