At Deakin University, I lead original research and provide biostatistical consultation for researchers and postgraduate students, from study design and grant applications through analysis and reporting.
I've contributed to more than 200 medical research projects and published more than 130 journal articles, including work in The Lancet Global Health and The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology. My work applies advanced statistical modelling, machine learning, data visualisation, and simulation modelling to real-world health problems.
Across academic, industry, and non-profit settings, I've analysed clinical-trial and large dynamic datasets, developed prediction models, and overseen data governance. I also supervise PhD students and mentor early- and mid-career researchers.
