Wei Yuan

I contribute data analysis and interpretation to women’s-health research with academic and clinical collaborators, taking work from study questions and data checks through analysis, manuscript preparation, and technical documentation.

I build reproducible Python and R workflows for health, bioinformatics, and analytical datasets, including data cleaning, consistency checks, provenance tracking, analytical validation, and sensitivity checks. I have analysed public research data including FinnGen and UK Biobank-derived summary data, and created reusable audits to identify data-structure, grouping, and analysis issues before modelling.

My earlier work spans biomedical optical engineering, environmental microbiome products, scientific education, and medical translation. I bring current ICH GCP E6(R3) certification, experience coordinating research records and reporting, and a practical ability to turn complex scientific material into clear guidance for varied users.
