What I'm looking for
I am a bilingual editor and translator with over a decade of experience in literary magazines and journals in both English and Hindi. My academic background spans Food Studies, History, Gender Studies, Sociology, and Anthropology, having trained at prestigious institutions across Asia, Europe, and North America. Currently, I am in the final stages of my PhD at Uppsala University, focusing on food studies and gender dynamics.
Throughout my career, I have contributed to various anthologies and journals, winning accolades for my poetry and essays. I have also served as a co-editor for the Graduate Journal of Food Studies, where I managed submissions and coordinated with peer reviewers. My role as a Hindi editor for The Stephanian has earned me recognition for outstanding editorial contributions, showcasing my commitment to fostering literary excellence.
In addition to my editorial work, I have engaged in community initiatives, advising NGOs on food insecurity and promoting BIPOC food entrepreneurs. My teaching experience includes conducting workshops on recipe writing and academic writing, emphasizing the importance of indigenous knowledge and pedagogy.
