What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level cybersecurity role where I can support IAM and SIEM operations, help detect and investigate security events, and use automation to reduce repeat issues and strengthen cloud and network security.

I’m a management information systems student building hands-on security and cloud expertise through internships, externships, and real-world projects. I focus on identity security, threat detection, and operational readiness—turning technical signals into clear, actionable responses.

In an Information Technology Intern role at AssetWorks, I supported enterprise asset management by administering IAM workflows with Okta and AzureAD, including provisioning and deprovisioning user access. I also resolved access and application issues across Microsoft Azure and SQL Server while maintaining 100% documentation compliance through Zendesk.

My cybersecurity experience includes a remote Cybersecurity Externship where I strengthened IoT security, implemented threat detection and cybersecurity controls, and improved security posture through proactive risk assessment and vulnerability mitigation. I also built AI automation for supply-chain insights using n8n and Gemini, applying automation to improve efficiency and decision-making.

My projects reinforce this direction: I built an AI-powered login risk classifier (Azure OpenAI), created AWS IAM work that enforces least privilege via RBAC and S3 policies, and developed a Splunk SIEM dashboard for SOC-style log filtering, correlation, and incident detection. I bring a practical, detail-driven mindset anchored in IAM fundamentals, incident response workflows, and measurable security improvements.
