Human services professional delivering person-centered support through IEP implementation and crisis intervention.
What I'm looking for
I’m a human services professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Youth and Family Services from Purdue University Global (3.5 GPA, Chancellor’s List). I bring hands-on experience connecting individuals with resources, navigating complex needs, and delivering person-centered support with an emphasis on equitable access to care.
In my current role as a LifeSkills Instructional Assistant, I support students with diverse physical, medical, and learning needs through individualized care, instructional assistance, and classroom support. I collaborate with teachers and nurses to monitor accommodations, implement IEP goals, deliver academic and functional skill instruction, and maintain safety and infection control standards.
My background also includes Language Facilitator and Special Education Instructional Assistant experience, where I supported students with low vision and hearing impairments, adapted materials using assistive technology, and implemented CPI techniques with at-risk students. I’m known for accurate documentation, detailed record-keeping, interdisciplinary collaboration, and calm, trauma-informed approaches to rapport, empowerment, and de-escalation.
