What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role in early childhood where I can support teachers, implement emergent curriculum, and help children build strong motor skills through structured, creative learning and a welcoming classroom environment.

I bring a strong foundation in early childhood education, currently attending New Jersey City University and building on prior coursework and credentials in the field. My background includes Early Childhood Education and an Associated CDA focused on preparing for child-centered learning.

In my most recent role as Preschool Head at Fed Kids Care, I planned and implemented emergent curriculum lesson plans, created planning worksheets weekly, and supported daily gross motor routines and activities. I also helped maintain the classroom environment by organizing and labeling materials, observing student performance, and using different approaches based on each child’s needs, interests, behaviors, and developmental levels.

Across daycare and school settings, I’ve consistently supported teachers and classroom routines—distributing teaching assistance materials, instructing and monitoring students, and assisting with projects like craft activities. I’ve also supported children in using computer programs for letter identification and maintained computers in classrooms and laboratories.

My experience also includes long-term community teaching as a Sunday school teacher and children’s leader, where I instructed and monitored students, planned weekly lesson plans and activities, and collaborated with other teachers. I’m at my best when I can combine structure, creativity, and attentive support to help children learn and grow every day.
