Grace Burns
@graceburns
I create safe, engaging early childhood classrooms that support children’s learning, confidence, and development.
What I'm looking for
I support infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments. At The Goddard School, I’ve worked across infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms while building positive relationships with children and families.
As a Lead Preschool Teacher, I planned developmentally appropriate lessons supporting literacy, math, science, and social-emotional growth. I observed children’s progress, completed developmental assessments, and used those observations to guide individualized learning.
I’ve also co-led toddler learning experiences focused on language, fine motor, and social-emotional development through play-based activities. During my Pre-K internship at Friendship School, I co-planned literacy, mathematics, art, and science lessons and documented developmental milestones for an assigned focus child.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and am CPR and First Aid certified. I’m committed to helping every child build independence, confidence, and positive social connections.
