What I'm looking for

I’m looking to teach elementary students with data-driven small-group instruction, strong lesson planning, and clear communication—while also integrating music/art learning and meaningful projects like environmental education.

I’m an elementary teacher in the Port Huron Area School District, currently teaching Music and Art (Kindergarten through 5th grade). I follow the Danielson model, draft lesson plans, run small groups, and analyze growth using data to guide my instruction.

Previously, I taught 1st grade and 4th grade at Steenland Elementary School using the Marzano model to plan lessons, support small groups, and analyze growth with data. I also led the Green Club—educating students on environmental wellbeing (green energy, the water cycle, and carbon footprints), facilitating peer outreach, and organizing activities like cleaning school grounds and planting native flowers.

I have a background in numerous English courses related to reading and writing, ranging from teaching at an elementary level to producing publishable works.

I also have experience in restaurant management using sales records, inventory, and cash flow analysis to improve business logistics.
