Juha Raipola

I am an academic editor with a PhD in literary studies and over ten years of experience in editing scholarly work across the humanities, arts, and social sciences. My expertise lies in enhancing clarity, structure, and style while maintaining academic rigor and the authorial voice. I have worked extensively with journal articles, monographs, and interdisciplinary texts, and I am well-versed in major citation styles and publishing standards.

Currently, I serve as the editorial coordinator for Tutkijaliitto ry, where I manage the editorial workflow of a peer-reviewed journal focused on culture and society. My role involves coordinating production schedules, communicating with authors and editors, and ensuring editorial quality and consistency. I also organize publication events and support the editorial board, acting as a liaison between reviewers, contributors, and publishing staff to maintain the journal’s visibility and impact.

Previously, I held several positions as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Tampere, where I taught and designed courses in literary and cultural studies, supervised student research, and contributed to curriculum development. My independent research has been published in peer-reviewed collaborative projects, showcasing my strong pedagogical skills combined with scholarly expertise.
