At ADI Global Distribution, I lead credit and collections for a $38M+ US receivables portfolio across 12 branches, with a team of seven. KPI-driven collection strategies helped move the region into a Top-3 national performer within six months, reducing DSO 15% and improving team productivity 20%.
I built the team's Credit & Collections Decision Guide grounded in NACM, FASB ASC 326/CECL, and SOX, and set up monthly credit reviews with all 12 branches. I also root-caused an order-release control defect and put verification steps in place to prevent write-offs on shipped product.
I structure payment-plan workouts for distressed accounts, including a $138K, 18-month plan with a balloon schedule and default terms. I also redesigned portfolio coverage into a five-tier service model and standardized bucket-based dunning.
Earlier, at Bodycote Thermal Processing, I eliminated all invoices past due more than 120 days and cut dispute-resolution turnaround 30%. At Continental ContiTech, I reduced LATAM past-due balances from 8.7% to 1.7%; at TBC de México, I helped reduce portfolio debt from MXN 50M to 28M by designing and launching a collections call center.
