What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an editorial role where I can lead coverage, write and copyedit with AP Style rigor, optimize for SEO, and consistently hit deadlines—while collaborating with writers to produce standout sports content.

I’m a writer/editor who leads coverage through high-stakes sporting events—building daily output with strong editorial judgment, AP Style consistency, and SEO-aware writing. At Comeback Media, I oversaw a team of writers across two sites (AwfulAnnouncing.com and TheComeback.com), working as both an editor and writer for most of the major sports moments during my time there.

Before that, I served as Sports Editor for three Northern Arizona newspapers and covered community high school sports as a stringer, including multi-school coverage. I’ve also written longform and shortform for Sportsnaut and co-founded a fantasy baseball site, where I was the main editor and producer of content until it was purchased by Fansided—rounding out my experience from reporting to production to editing excellence, backed by award recognition in 2021.
