What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a fast-paced sports media role where I can lead editorial teams, keep quality high with daily writing/editing, and drive audience growth through strong SEO and social strategy.

I’m a sports media professional who’s built my career around writing, editing, and leadership in fast-paced publishing environments. With a B.S. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism (Emphasis in Sport Management), I bring a strong sports foundation into every story I help deliver.

At SB Nation, I moved from staff writer to managing editor, overseeing and training writing teams of 10+ and also supporting an editing team of 2-3. I’ve written and edited daily—producing 5–20 articles depending on the season—and I’ve trained teams to create SEO-friendly headlines and articles while working with syndication partners to promote content.

I’ve also helped grow audience engagement, including exponentially growing a site’s Twitter account to 10k followers from under 2K across an 8-year period. Earlier in my career, I expanded my skill set through sports broadcasting and production work—commentating NCAA events, filming with Panasonic AG-AC160 cameras, and editing NCAA sports highlights using Final Cut Pro X.
