What I'm looking for

I appreciate open and diverse companies, that value a personal connection and find the best employees to be the ones that actively identify with the company. I like to be given responsibility early and proof myself as I grow into a role. I like to be eye-to-eye with my superiors and want to find a company that nurtures an environment for this.

G'day. I'm Michael, 27 years of age. I used to work in the service industry and now I am pursuing my dream of working in the design industry. I prioritize a functional approach in my designs. Design Systems, typography and animations are strengths of mine. Beyond my design skills, I also have experience in web and app development. I speak English and German fluently and have basic knowledge in Italian and Icelandic. I still have a lot to learn and look forward to the journey we will embark together upon.

I co-founded Taskrookie, a gig-economy job platform for service contractors and individuals. I designed the product, developed the brand guidelines and worked together with the marketing team to design assets such as flyers, banners and other marketing material. The company was sold in 2021 back to the investor, after a continuous lack of market penetration.
