What I'm looking for
I'm completing a PhD at the University of Agder, collaborating with a CNC machine manufacturer’s R&D lab to apply AI to ultra-precision engineering, improve process efficiency, and reduce manufacturing cost.
I design and run polishing experiments on ultra-precision CNC machines, analyse the resulting data, and develop machine learning models that inform sensing, modelling, and next-generation machine design. I've authored and co-authored four peer-reviewed papers and present results to both academic and industry audiences.
Previously, I built LabVIEW control software for the SwingArm Profilometer, Power BI dashboards and automated workflows at Kagool, Java CRM functionality at Gentrack, and MATLAB algorithms for autonomous optics manufacturing at Zeeko.

PhD research fellow focused on applying AI to ultra-precision engineering, collaborating with industry partners to improve process efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost. Designed and ran experiments on CNC machines, developed ML models, and authored peer-reviewed papers.
Designed system logic for the SwingArm Profilometer and developed control software in LabVIEW to automate measurement and data collection for large ultra-precision surfaces.
