What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply AI/ML, scientific software development, and subsurface interpretation to real geoscience and energy-storage challenges, with opportunities to test tools on real data, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate results to industry.

I'm a PhD researcher at the University of Stavanger developing AI/ML-assisted workflows for subsurface interpretation and energy-storage applications in the Norwegian North Sea.

I built a semi-automated lithofacies classification workflow across 145 wells, combining petrophysical log responses with quantitative uncertainty assessment and an interactive well-log interpretation application.

I also developed a GPU-accelerated geomechanical solver in Julia to model stress evolution around salt caverns and evaluate the effects of lithological heterogeneity. This work has been presented at EAGE and is being prepared for publication.

My work brings together seismic interpretation, well-log and core data, Python and Julia development, and reproducible AI-assisted workflows. I independently designed and deployed a privacy-first multi-agent AI assistant, and I communicate technical results through peer-reviewed research and industry presentations.
