What I'm looking for

I am seeking roles offering trauma-informed, client-centered counselling with research or programme evaluation opportunities, supportive supervision, and hybrid work flexibility.

I am a registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor with practical experience in counselling, crisis intervention, and mental health facilitation. I combine academic rigour from an Honours in Psychology with applied skills in trauma psychology, developmental psychology, and neuropsychology.

My honours thesis evaluated Animal Assisted Interventions for at-risk South African youth, using qualitative, reflexive thematic analysis to demonstrate feasibility and positive psychosocial outcomes. I have strong research skills including qualitative and quantitative methods, R programming, and statistics.

In professional practice I have provided in-person and online counselling, supervised client work, and campus counselling support, alongside hospitality roles that strengthened my communication, organisation, and client-service skills. I am comfortable with hybrid working models and thrive in collaborative, client-centred environments.

I seek to apply my counselling expertise, research background, and client-facing experience to roles that prioritise trauma-informed care, measurable programme impact, and compassionate community-based interventions.
