What I'm looking for

I'm focused on leading equitable gifted education systems, expanding access for historically underrepresented students, and creating inclusive educational resources that support educators, families, and exceptional children.

I lead districtwide gifted and talented strategy, programming, and systems redesign at Denver Public Schools to increase equity and access in gifted education.

My work focuses on dismantling systemic barriers so students from historically underrepresented groups are identified, supported, and celebrated. I’ve advanced through gifted education roles at DPS from itinerant teacher and coordinator to manager, senior manager, interim director, and director.

I also founded Hex 24 Press, where I publish inclusive, innovative educational materials and support writers bringing meaningful, equity-centered resources into the world. As a published author, I’m committed to uplifting educators’ work.

I host Exceptionally Speaking on YouTube, a podcast for exceptional children and the educators and families who care for them. My EdD in Curriculum and Instruction research examined gifted identification in young, historically underrepresented populations.
