Lead a 15-person department overseeing gifted education strategy, assessment, identification, programming, compliance, and professional learning across 200 district and charter schools in a district serving nearly 90,000 students. Manage a $2.4 million budget, consistently finish under budget, and secure $300,000 in recurring grant funding for assessment and operations.

Founded and currently lead an independent educational publishing company that released more than 50 titles in its first two years. Direct organizational strategy, operations, branding, portfolio growth, and end-to-end publishing in partnership with 11 authors and illustrators. Lead publication of "Advanced Development," an established academic journal focused on adult giftedness.

Provided strategic leadership for gifted education, strengthening educator effectiveness, leadership capacity, equitable acceleration pathways, and program implementation. Partnered with leaders to redesign educator evaluation, doubled leadership support for 26 itinerant educators, and standardized whole-grade acceleration using research-based tools and multilingual family safeguards.

Completed a five-month contract alongside my full-time district leadership role to deepen my knowledge of publishing technology, author workflows, and book-production software.
• Resolved technical and workflow issues for authors and publishers, created self-service knowledge resources, and communicated user insights to product and development teams.

• Built an Advanced Learning Plan monitoring system that raised on-time compliance from 35% to 90% in one year.
• Designed the district’s first Early Access process and equitable pathways for whole-grade acceleration and private assessment review.
• Supervised and evaluated 16 educators while creating accountability structures that clarified ownership and improved team efficiency.

• Supported gifted education leaders across 20 schools, led identification and equity committees, and delivered monthly professional learning for teachers, principals, and district administrators.
• Taught state-aligned gifted certification courses and helped expand identification pathways for culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
