What I'm looking for

I’m looking to deepen my impact as a collaborative, non-evaluative instructional coach—supporting teachers through coaching cycles, job-embedded modeling, and data-informed professional development that strengthens instructional clarity and student engagement.

I’m an instructional coach and instructional leader with 15 years of classroom teaching experience and 5+ years supporting science instruction in grades 5–12. I’m committed to strengthening teacher practice, instructional clarity, and student engagement and success through collaborative, non-evaluative coaching.

In my current role as Instructional Coach – Science (Grades 5–12) at Rapoport Academy Public School (2020–Present), I lead full coaching cycles: goal-setting, co-planning, classroom observation, feedback, and reflective conversations. I design and facilitate professional development aligned to campus instructional priorities and teacher needs, and I model instructional strategies in classrooms.

I coach teachers in high-impact instructional practices, including LeMoV techniques—strong voice, routines, cold call, wait time, checks for understanding, and no opt out. I also use instructional and engagement data to identify coaching focus areas, monitor growth, and guide next steps, ensuring support is both targeted and actionable.

Earlier in my career as a Classroom Teacher – Science & Elementary Education across multiple campuses (15 years), I implemented engaging, student-centered, standards-aligned instruction, built strong classroom culture through consistent routines and clear expectations, and used formative assessment to inform instruction and support diverse learners. I continue to collaborate on instructional planning and school improvement efforts, and I mentor teachers to grow instructional confidence and capacity.
