Elizabeth Prall

I led a school-wide initiative to integrate literacy best practices across all subjects. This involved modeling lessons, facilitating team meetings, and analyzing student data to align instructional strategies with school improvement goals.

As an Instructional Coach, I provided coaching and support to teachers in identifying and engaging high-achieving students. I coordinated extension opportunities and mentored new teachers through feedback cycles and coaching sessions. Additionally, I designed professional development sessions and analyzed student performance data to inform instructional strategies.

In this role, I supported elementary teachers in implementing high-quality science instruction. I developed lesson plans and delivered professional development on effective science teaching strategies.

As a 2nd Grade Teacher, I differentiated instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student population. I collaborated with colleagues to enhance instructional effectiveness and supported students' academic growth.

As a board member, I advocated for high-quality science education and supported teachers through modeling lessons and providing feedback. I organized professional development workshops and presented at state conferences.

Activities and societies: Participated in the Cultivating Reader's Project and served on the JMS Literacy Leadership Team.

Completed a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, focusing on K-8 certification and K-12 literacy endorsement. Engaged in various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing literacy and instructional practices.
