I've contributed to molecular, phytochemical, and computational research on mycotoxigenic fungi in Digitaria exilis, including the evaluation of Cymbopogon citratus essential oil for biological control.
As a Research Assistant at the African Center of Excellence for Mycotoxin and Food Safety, I supported research spanning molecular biology, food safety, and fungal assessment. I also completed a graduate internship at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture.
My published research includes molecular modeling of terpenoids, SARS-CoV-2 protease inhibitors, antimicrobial testing, food fermentation, and nutritional analysis. I use DNA extraction, PCR analysis, molecular docking simulation, and data analysis in Python and R.
I'm currently pursuing further study at the University of Ibadan, building on my M.Tech. in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics and first-class B.Sc. in Biochemistry.
