What I'm looking for

Product teams where bookings, payments or AI features are core to the product. Remote, contract or full-time, any time zone. I like owning a feature from the database to the App Store release.

I build the software a business runs on day to day: bookings, payments, compliance reports and AI learning content. I have done this for 5 years, for clients in Australia, Sweden and the UK.

Lead Full-Stack Engineer at PlayerBash (contract, Australia, remote), a multi-sport court booking platform. I own the backend, admin app and player web app. Overlapping bookings are blocked inside database transactions, and payments use Stripe manual capture, so money only moves when a booking is really going ahead.

I took over a live multi-branch salon booking system (200 to 300 bookings a month), documented 31 defects, fixed them in priority order and cut the mobile payload from 17.2 MB to 1.7 MB.

At Neovotech I led a mobile team of 3 on two React Native products, ExamBinary and PlayR, and owned the App Store and Google Play releases. Before that I built an automated club payout system for a padel app with 100K+ Google Play downloads.

Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, React Native and Expo, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis and BullMQ, Stripe, AWS, Docker.
