I've led an end-to-end research project at IISER Mohali investigating the anti-nematode properties of termite mound fungi, from soil-sample processing and nematode quantification to fungal isolation, culture, and sequencing.
My BS-MS training in Biological Science spans molecular biology, microbial genetics, bioinformatics, evolution, ecology, and gene expression. I've also studied marine predator-prey interactions, glutamate receptor trafficking, stress-resistance evolution in Drosophila, and natural soundscapes, using Python, R, MATLAB, PCR, data analysis, and microbiological techniques to solve research problems.
