Meghan Gray
@meghangray
I bring field leadership in orchards and environmental work, from diagnostics to permitting.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Orchard Lead with hands-on, outdoors-first experience running orchard production and leading crews of 4–8. I handle tasks like mowing, pruning, weeding, pesticide spraying, trimming, harvesting, and leading apple sorting, cider pressing, pasteurization, and bottling—often with limited oversight in changing weather.
My background also strengthens my accuracy and client communication. As a Plant Health Technician, I identified and diagnosed insects, weeds, fungus conditions, and pest-prone areas, then educated customers on prescribed pest control and fertilization. I also supported 404 permitting and Waters of US reporting as a Wetlands Specialist, researched permitting changes, assisted field work with survey and drone piloting, and completed construction record drawings and initial document quality control.
Before moving fully into land stewardship work, I built a foundation in conservation and aquatic field operations through hatchery and fisheries roles. I performed sampling, feeding, vaccine administration, water monitoring, and hatchery maintenance, and I carried those details into later work with wetlands delineation support and survey equipment use. I’m energized by practical field impact, clear communication, and responsible follow-through.
