Field botanist and restoration technician specializing in native plant propagation, meadow monitoring, and GIS fieldwork.
What I'm looking for
I am a field botanist and restoration technician with experience in meadow monitoring, native plant propagation, and herbarium digitization. I combine rigorous field methods with geospatial data collection to support conservation and restoration projects.
My work includes leading crews for rare plant surveys, invasive species removal, and implementing Phytophthora Best Management Practices. I have hands-on nursery experience propagating and maintaining California native plants for research and restoration.
I am proficient in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, FieldMaps, Survey123, data collection on tablets, and I process GIS data in Excel. I have experience preparing specimens, barcoding, imaging, and transcribing herbarium labels.
I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Environmental Science and hold an A.S. in Plant Science with certificates in Nursery Management and Horticulture Science. I bring strong leadership, communication, and field safety experience.
