At Ghanimah Lab Canada, I defined availability and resolution-time SLOs for production services across 2,000+ on-premise RHEL servers. I restructured incident response and SLI tracking, reducing average resolution time from 5+ hours to 55 minutes and bringing uptime above the 99.9% target.
I also led a five-member global team in emergency patching and hardening of seven internet-facing servers, completing remediation within 24 hours. I developed Bash and Python automation that eliminated 10 hours of manual work each week.
On my Production OpenEdX LMS on AWS EKS project, I deployed a multi-AZ platform with tested disaster recovery procedures and RTO/RPO targets under four hours. Load testing supported 500–1,000 concurrent users, and the infrastructure changes were estimated to reduce costs by 30–40% compared with a fully in-cluster deployment.
