Biomedical-focused mechanical engineer building affordable diagnostics and biomanufacturing solutions.
What I'm looking for
I am a mechanical engineer with a strong focus on biomedical devices and biomanufacturing, driven to create affordable diagnostic solutions for low-resource settings. I led Ashesi's iGEM team to a gold medal and designed a capstone microfluidic TB diagnostic for HIV patients that earned Technical Excellence.
I founded ProGeneBio to produce diagnostic enzymes locally, secured a $20K grant, and advanced assay and aptamer integration in wet-lab research as a faculty intern. I combine hands-on lab experience, prototyping skills, and interdisciplinary teamwork to move ideas from bench to market.
I mentor students, develop low-resource STEM curricula, and volunteer as a student first responder to support survivor care and campus safety. I seek opportunities where I can apply engineering, biology, and entrepreneurship to improve healthcare access in Africa.
