At Apogee-BC, I work on a stream-processing data platform and content delivery service that collects and analyzes events in real time. I took part in migrating event processing from a monolith to Go microservices, with throughput in my area growing by 45%.
I developed and maintained a Redis Cluster token-bucket rate limiter integrated with Envoy that handles peak loads of 80K RPS. I also optimized ClickHouse queries for an events table with more than 10 billion rows, reducing query times from 20 seconds to 200 milliseconds.
I build Python ETL pipelines for reporting and support my services in production on Kubernetes. I'm also a grpc-gateway contributor; my PR added required query parameter support to the OpenAPI v3 generator and shipped in v2.30.0.
