What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can coach students through structured, inclusive learning—using chess and engaging enrichment to strengthen critical thinking. I thrive in teams that value communication, continuous improvement, and student safety.

I’m a proactive chess coach and educator who focuses on critical thinking, problem-solving, and clear communication. I work effectively both independently and as part of a team, adapting lessons to help students grow quickly.

As a Scholastic Chess Coach for IMAGINE THAT, I lead intracity travel to ensure timely preparation for recurring coaching sessions. I communicate with administration about curriculum execution, and I use post-class reflections to advise on problems and solutions while continuously improving coaching for both students and coaches.

I also bring classroom and enrichment experience from Strategic Kids, where I developed and delivered after-school curricula, supported homework and core academic concepts, and monitored progress with regular parent/guardian feedback. I consistently maintain safe, inclusive environments and keep accurate attendance records aligned with program policies.

Beyond teaching, I’ve served as a Security Officer at Allied Universal, handling shelter security through hourly checks and camera surveillance while greeting residents and visitors professionally. With certifications including CPR, AED, and First Aid, I’m committed to responsibility, safety, and results in every role.
