I’m looking to lead Golang-based payments and security-focused platform teams, own architecture and SLOs, scale event-driven systems, and coach engineers—partnering with exec stakeholders to deliver measurable reliability and growth.

I’m a Senior Engineering Manager and hands-on technologist with 18+ years of software development, 9+ years leading engineering teams, and 5+ years in application security. At Mercado Libre, I’m building Golang-first distributed, event-driven payments infrastructure that processes hundreds of thousands of transactions per hour, while owning architecture decisions and driving trade-offs with executive stakeholders.

I’ve scaled systems dramatically—like increasing internal payment processor throughput 110× (5K to 550K transactions per hour)—and led migrations from external PSP/acquirer integrations to internal processing to improve ledger control. I also bring deep security and reliability practices from leading vulnerability intelligence tooling, automating CVE/NVD ingestion, and implementing observability pipelines to enable proactive incident response, all while coaching teams on growth, hiring readiness, and morale.
