I’m looking to lead backend modernization and distributed teams, keeping code quality high while shipping measurable improvements in latency, reliability, and compliance. I want a product-focused culture where I still write code, review, and mentor.

I’m a systems engineer with over 15 years designing, modernizing, and scaling mission-critical transactional systems across financial, insurance, and fintech environments. My primary focus is .NET Core/C# and ASP.NET, complemented by strong experience with Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC.

I’ve led distributed teams by defining roadmaps, running code reviews, and mentoring engineers—while still staying hands-on. At Seguros Bolívar, I modernized critical COBOL/PL/SQL processes into Java Spring Boot microservices, cut latency in policy billing/reinsurance by refactoring Oracle stored procedures, and ensured audit controls and SOX compliance in a regulated setting.

I bring a full-stack perspective without sacrificing backend rigor, building production frontends (Vue.js, ASP.NET) and shipping personal projects in Next.js, Angular, Python, and AWS Lambda.
