Mary Clare Brusek 2022
@maryclarebrusek2022
Motivated early-career sales-minded personal trainer and camp director focused on client relationships and growth.
What I'm looking for
I’m a motivated, results-driven student-athlete with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Western Michigan University. I bring leadership, analytical thinking, and customer-focused skills, and I’m excited to launch my career in the sales industry.
As an NCAA Division I volleyball player and Team Captain since August 2022, I balance a demanding academic schedule with 20+ hours weekly training while staying performance-ready under pressure. I collaborate with coaches and teammates to analyze performance, implement feedback, and continuously improve outcomes, earning first team all Mid-American Conference and All-Academic MAC recognition.
In my work experience, I promote and sell individualized training programs by assessing client needs and aligning services with health and performance goals. As Volleyball Camp Director (June 2025), I led training for 40 campers, managed scheduling and registration, and created marketing strategies and promotional materials to increase visibility and participation.
Through leadership and service, I strengthen relationships and communication across teams—participating in the Student Athlete Leadership Building Program and supporting community outreach initiatives. I’ve also completed 94 hours of volunteering and draw on my Gallup CliftonStrengths (Arranger, Responsibility, Achiever, Adaptability, Restorative) to drive engagement, accountability, and results.
