Marrion Shitambasi
@marrionshitambasi
Community services professional and intensive case manager specializing in trauma-informed crisis support and housing-focused care coordination.
What I'm looking for
I’m a community services and intensive case management professional with over 5 years of experience supporting homeless and marginalized individuals, especially youth, facing mental health, addiction, and abuse challenges. I bring deep strength in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and problem-solving under pressure, guided by anti-oppressive and equity-based approaches, including black-racist approaches.
In my current work, I promote youth engagement and positive youth development through therapeutic relationships, assessments, and care planning tools, while coordinating wrap-around services across outreach, mental health services, harm reduction support, and housing. I also compile statistical information and prepare monthly reports, and I’ve supervised youth programming, managed staff and placements, and contributed to fundraising and grant applications. Earlier, I delivered shelter support and provided intake and case management as a social worker, strengthening my ability to advocate for access to services and support clients through housing transitions.
