Marisa Silvestre

I've delivered nursing care across NHS hospitals in Birmingham, London, and Epsom, including operating theatre coordination and Level 3 neonatal intensive care for premature newborns and their families.

In Portugal, I've provided pediatric emergency care at Centro Hospitalar Barreiro-Montijo and Hospital Nossa Senhora do Rosário, managing acute illness, resuscitation, seizures, and coordination with multidisciplinary hospital services. I also provide primary and ambulatory care in a prison setting, occupational health assessments, and youth health promotion through the Cuida-te programme.

Alongside clinical work, I teach pediatric first aid, pediatric basic life support, and healthcare assistant modules. I'm committed to evidence-based care, active listening, empathetic relationships, and clear communication with diverse communities.
