I’ve worked as a volunteer Firefighter in Portugal and later transitioned into nursing, building my focus around general care and high-stakes settings like emergency care units and intensive CARE. I’ve served in Hospital de Loures, Direcção-geral de reinserção e serviços prisionais, and Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Central- Hospital de S. José, including general nurse care in intensive care.
In my current roles, I provide “general nurse care,” support emergency and surgical recovery pathways, and assist anesthesia and medical teams. I administer Ivo medication and use different technics such as hemodiálise, plasmaferese, and blood transfusions, while transporting patients to TC and scans and coordinating care with doctors, fisioterapists, and nutricionists.
