Compassionate counsellor dedicated to supporting individuals through recovery.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated Person-centred counsellor with extensive experience in supporting individuals facing various challenges, particularly in the realm of addiction and mental health. My role has allowed me to accumulate over 500 client hours, complemented by rigorous training in areas such as Substance Misuse, Safeguarding, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
In addition to my work at Adferiad, I have established a part-time private practice, 'Contemplate Counselling', where I offer both face-to-face and remote counselling services. My previous experience spans various roles in the care sector, including supporting individuals with special needs and dementia. I have collaborated with multiple agencies, enhancing my ability to provide comprehensive support tailored to each individual's needs. My commitment to professional development is unwavering, as I continuously seek opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge in the field of counselling.
