Mariam Imran

I’m a creative, detail-oriented Business Administration graduate with a major in Marketing, with hands-on experience in public relations, communications, and digital marketing. I’m skilled in client account support, media and influencer coordination, and PR campaign execution, and I bring strong communication, organization, and teamwork in fast-paced environments.

In my current role as a Communications Intern (Account Executive Support) at The Qode, I support day-to-day coordination across luxury and lifestyle client accounts. I assist in developing and distributing press materials, build and maintain media and influencer lists, coordinate media and influencer seeding (dispatch, tracking, and follow-ups), and compile media coverage reports and summaries for internal and client use. I’ve also represented the brand on-site at a Vogue magazine fashion shoot, overseeing product placement to ensure brand consistency.

Previously, as a Public Relations Intern (Account Executive Support) at House of Comms, I provided daily coordination across multiple client accounts and supported press materials and media outreach. I built organized media and influencer databases, assisted with client events and activations (including guest lists, on-site logistics, and post-event follow-up), and monitored media coverage and brand mentions using Carma, Meltwater, Lefty, and Vuelio. I also conducted research on industries, competitors, and trends to help inform strategic campaign planning and build a strong understanding of the UAE media landscape.

I also developed long-term social media expertise at CakesByZoya, progressing from Social Media Intern to Social Media Manager (Part-Time). I designed and curated visual content using Canva, maintained monthly content calendars, supported product launch planning and influencer coordination, handled audience engagement (DMs and comments), and coordinated paid advertising to boost reach and sales. Alongside this, I’ve served as Volunteer Manager for the Emirates Festival of Literature, overseeing and allocating 300+ volunteers annually and coordinating schedules to ensure smooth operations.
