Mariagorretti Nabakooza

I am a multilingual educator from Uganda with experience as a teaching assistant, home-school tutor, and headcare officer, committed to fostering student-centered learning and cooperative teamwork. I plan and lead lessons in partnership with lead teachers, differentiate instruction for individuals and small groups, and use assessment data to inform remediation and extension.

My background includes developing curricula and classroom environments that promote physical, mental, and social development, training caregivers in child development techniques, and implementing gentle, research-based discipline strategies. I have designed engaging special events, classroom displays, and individualized coaching to build positive learning cultures.

I seek to transition into a lead-teacher role in an international school setting where I can apply my skills in lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and collaborative curriculum development to help students achieve academic goals and instill a lasting love of learning.
