margaret Coetzee

Hi, I’m Margaret Coetzee, a self-motivated professional based in Cape Town with a BConSci in Clothing Retail Management from the University of Pretoria.

For the past five years I’ve worked independently in an online customer support and administration role at ChatBack, a vehicle licence renewal service. I manage customer service operations across two provinces, handle client communication and day-to-day admin, and submit the company’s tax returns via SARS eFiling. Working remotely for this long has taught me to manage my own schedule, stay accountable and meet deadlines without supervision.

In 2026 I spent eight months as a Junior Buyer Assistant at Old School. There I maintained product and order data, tracked sales and stock performance, and communicated with suppliers on samples, orders and deliveries. Before that, I completed internships with fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee, Evolution Product and Suzi Products, and worked in retail at Uniq (Checkers Group). Alongside my work, I co-founded On the Circle, a sustainable pre-loved fashion market, where I handle stock, logistics, set-up and sales.

I’m confident with digital tools, including Excel, Xero, SimplePay, CinCore 7 and SARS eFiling. I’ve completed an 8-week Claude training course and use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT for research, reporting and productivity. I also have a certificate in data analytics with SQL.

I’m organised, detail-oriented and good at juggling several responsibilities at once. I’m looking for a remote or hybrid role in any industry, especially in customer support, administration, operations or coordination, with a team that values reliability and initiative.

Outside of work, I’m a certified yoga teacher and enjoy fashion, sustainability and attending industry events.
