What I'm looking for

Remote backend developer role with an international team. Ideally Node.js/TypeScript-focused, with real engineering challenges — distributed systems, complex integrations, or high-load APIs. Looking for async-friendly culture, ownership over my work, and a team that cares about code quality. Open to both product companies and early-stage startups. I'm a backend developer with 4+ years of commercial experience building APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations. My core stack is Node.js and TypeScript with NestJS, and I work across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ in production environments.

I've built systems in regulated industries — oil & gas and healthcare — where reliability, idempotency, and fault tolerance aren't optional. That background shaped how I approach backend work: I care about stability, clear interface design, and code that's maintainable by the next developer.

My strongest value is on the backend side: API design, async processing, third-party integrations, and distributed systems. I'm also capable on the frontend when needed, but backend engineering is where I go deep.

I hold a Computer Science degree from Universidade Potiguar (Brazil) and have worked across product companies and consulting environments — from junior enterprise projects at UFRN to production systems serving real users in critical industries.
