Marcus Henry
@marcushenry
AWS-certified production support engineer focused on reliability and faster incident resolution.
What I'm looking for
I’m an AWS-certified IT operations professional with 3+ years supporting production systems—resolving incidents, maintaining infrastructure stability, and driving continuous improvement across enterprise environments. I bring hands-on AWS monitoring experience using CloudWatch observability to keep cloud-based applications healthy and responsive.
In production support roles, I triage incidents and service requests with SLA discipline, monitor system health, and troubleshoot TCP/IP and DNS connectivity issues to minimize downtime. I’ve also partnered with development teams to investigate performance using logs and monitoring, then converted what I learned into runbooks and incident documentation in Confluence.
I automate where it counts: I’ve authored PowerShell scripts to streamline endpoint security updates and eliminate configuration drift across 100+ managed endpoints. I also use PowerShell, Bash, and Python to improve operational workflows, reduce manual effort, and harden repeatable processes.
My work spans cloud operations and infrastructure reliability, including AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, and API Gateway, plus IaC and CI/CD with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and AWS SAM/CloudFormation. I’m specifically looking to apply cloud operations and troubleshooting expertise in an AI-driven production support environment focused on reliability and continuous improvement.
