What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build reliable data pipelines and data platforms, while growing my skills in SQL, Python, infrastructure, and end-to-end troubleshooting.

I've built data pipelines, relational data models, and infrastructure that support research and multi-user platforms.

At the University of Pretoria's Data Science for Social Impact Group, I administer Linux server infrastructure for research and data workloads. I independently resolved a full server outage and built two internal full-stack platforms for GPU resource allocation and researcher funding.

For a multilingual emotion-classification research project, I designed an end-to-end Python pipeline for roughly 100,000 emotion-annotated text instances across three African languages. I engineered augmentation conditions, validated clean deduplicated outputs, and used F1 evaluation and error analysis to improve pipeline decisions.

I also designed the relational database schema and authenticated API layer for Save n Bite, a multi-user food rescue platform. I'm motivated by building dependable data systems and the operational foundations behind them.
