I've investigated Himalayan medicinal plants through M.Tech research at GBPIET, using GC-MS to identify and compare bioactive compounds in Macrotyloma uniflorum, Berberis aristata, and Bergenia ciliata for anti-urolithic potential.
My work also includes documenting ethnobotanical healthcare practices in Uttarakhand and optimizing phytochemical extraction methods for Ziziphus mauritiana at the G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment. I received a Best Paper Award for my ethnobotanical study of ancient Indian knowledge systems and sustainable healthcare.
I bring hands-on laboratory discipline across microbiology, cell culture, aseptic technique, phytochemical screening, antimicrobial assays, PCR, and computer-aided drug design, and I’m ready to contribute analytical rigor to biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical work.
