What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a biotechnology role where I can apply PCR, gel electrophoresis, aseptic techniques, and bioinformatics (BLAST, MSA) in a lab setting, learn from structured work, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver dependable research results.

I’m a post graduate in biotechnology with a strong foundation in microbiology and molecular techniques, and I enjoy turning lab work into meaningful insights. I’m known for clear communication, presentations, problem solving, and team management, with a collaborative, disciplined approach to lab operations.

I’ve trained through hands-on projects and thesis work, including CSIR-IHBT Palampur focused on characterization of a gene isolated from Nardostachys jatamansi using molecular and bioinformatics analysis, followed by homologous transformation. I’m comfortable working with aseptic techniques, r-DNA technology, and core lab workflows like PCR and gel electrophoresis.

My technical interests also extend to bioinformatics tools such as BLAST and MSA, along with applying analytical thinking to compare and interpret biological data. I’ve also worked on a Circular Bioeconomy approach for vegan leather production from floral biomass, which strengthened my ability to connect science with real-world applications.

Across academic and co-curricular activities, I’ve consistently earned recognition, including securing first positions and cash prizes through projects like “MARITAG BIOSOLUTIONS” and RISEON 1.0/2.0, and I’ve participated in skill-building programs such as I-RISE (OTP operator training). I’m now looking to contribute in a biotechnology-focused environment where I can keep growing through rigorous research and teamwork.
