What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a wireless QA role where I can lead 5G SA/NSA trial testing, deep log/protocol analysis, and performance optimization—working closely with R&D to isolate root causes and validate fixes end-to-end using strong tooling and clear success metrics.

I’m a Software QA Engineer focused on wireless testing and optimization of 5G new features across carrier/Device side, with hands-on experience in testing and debugging complex SA/NSA behaviors (EN-DC, VOLTE, LTE, W-CDMA) and building reliable KPI reporting workflows. I work directly with R&D to isolate call, mobility, and performance issues and verify fixes through repeat test cycles.

In 5G trials, I’ve executed ATT SA/NSA, TMO VONR, TMO SA/NSA, and multiple regional deployments, covering TP performance, DL/UL leg switch, RSRP imbalance, interference, Dynamic Power sharing, PC2, thermal mitigation, PSHO and blind redirection, REG/PDU reject investigations, and RLF/RandomAccess-related root-cause analysis. I also performed Verizon and LTE/NR feature validations such as 7CC UL 256 QAM (CBRS), n71 DSS CSI RS/DMRS mapping, and RF/PHY feature testing including FD-MIMO TM9/TM4 and 256 QAM/MBSFN style trial verification.

Before my current role, I served as a Staff Engineer and Field Engineer doing carrier trial projects and modem system testing (MST), including loading Meta/MPSS builds using JTAG/T32, writing IMEI with QPST, running CSFB/IRAT/IFHO, throughput and E911, and using log-driven workflows to pinpoint protocol or hardware/software issues. I’m strong in log analysis using Qualcomm proprietary tools (QxDM, QCAT, ShannonDM) and telecom protocol standards (3GPP/3GPP2 TS, IETF RFC), and I’m comfortable pairing Wireshark-driven evidence with issue tracking in JIRA/PLM to drive resolution.
