Mahad Ali

I’m a final-year Computer Science student at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, focused on AI and software engineering. I enjoy building practical AI-powered products and full-stack systems, particularly around LLM applications, RAG, backend development, and cloud technologies.

During my internship at PTCL Group, I built and deployed an internal analytics platform using Next.js, React, SQLite, Python, and a locally hosted LLM to analyze customer reviews across telecom applications. At the Pakistan Institute of Education, I developed and deployed a Django-based publications portal for managing and searching a large collection of documents.

For my final-year project, CoreChain, my team built a privacy-preserving collaborative machine learning platform using federated learning, homomorphic encryption, Hyperledger Fabric, Docker, and AWS. The project placed 2nd in the Data Science category at GIKI’s Industrial Open House 2026. I also built DriveMind, a RAG-based Google Drive assistant using LangChain and LangGraph, with a focus on retrieval quality and source-grounded answers.

I’m primarily interested in AI engineering, backend, and full-stack software engineering roles where I can work on real products, take ownership, and continue developing strong engineering fundamentals. I’m especially interested in LLM applications, RAG and retrieval systems, Python backends, cloud infrastructure, and AI-powered developer or enterprise products.
