What I'm looking for

I'm looking to conduct and communicate impactful research on media, gender, digital activism, and social change while collaborating across disciplines, mentoring students, and engaging communities.

I research how digital activism, media, and social movements shape public discourse, civic engagement, and collective action in Southern Africa. My work on feminist movements and gendered violence has led to peer-reviewed articles, books, and conference presentations.

At the University of Botswana, I designed and taught media, communication, public relations, and qualitative research courses while supervising undergraduate and master's research from proposal development through dissertation writing. I also coordinated community-engaged projects with NGOs and local organisations.

I've used interviews, digital ethnography, qualitative questionnaires, literature reviews, and thematic analysis to investigate complex social issues. I enjoy collaborating across disciplinary and cultural backgrounds and communicating research to academic and non-academic audiences.
