What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior individual-contributor role where I can own full-stack or backend-heavy systems, ship measurable product improvements, and work with strong engineering teams. I’m especially interested in Java/Spring, TypeScript/Node.js, React, Python/FastAPI, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and pragmatic AI-enabled development.

Senior full-stack software engineer with about 10 years of experience delivering production systems for US clients and Brazilian companies. Strongest in Java/Spring, TypeScript/Node.js, Angular, and React, with about three years of Python backend work using FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.

Recent work includes a fast, AI-assisted Java 8-to-21 modernization of a very large service with about 60% average latency improvement, the event-driven architecture on GCP for a company replacing Salesforce with HubSpot as its CRM, payment microservice architecture, shipment services, and a frontend modernization of more than ten modules. I also designed MCP interfaces for production APIs; the interfaces began as a proof of concept and are now in production. I also built an internal platform where people learn prompt-engineering techniques. I have worked with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, message queues, REST, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

I own features from architecture and implementation through automated testing, CI/CD, production monitoring, and measurable product outcomes. I mentor engineers, work directly with stakeholders, use Claude Code and Cursor for AI-assisted development, and am completing an MBA in Software Engineering with AI.
