What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level role where I can apply proton-therapy dosimetry and scientific data analysis, collaborate with a supportive team, and keep improving my skills through hands-on modeling and programming.

I’m a physicist with a Master’s degree in Nuclear Physics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, specializing in dosimetry applied to proton therapy. My training spans nuclear processes and models, and it shapes how I evaluate both the risks and the benefits of nuclear technologies.

In my degree work research, I’ve focused on optimizing dose measurement tools in proton therapy using RBT4 radiochromic films. At the same time, I’m investigating the feasibility of using photospectrometers to measure dose in EBT4 films during irradiation, with the goal of enabling real-time dose monitoring.

Before that, as an undergraduate researcher in a Medical physics Group at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, I supported seminars and communication around dosimetry, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, and radiopharmaceuticals. I enjoy teamwork and I bring a proactive attitude—plus a good sense of humor—to keep projects moving and ideas flowing.

I also have experience building programming and data analysis projects in the scientific-experimental field, strengthening my skills with data analysis and modeling tools. From simulating nuclear decay with binomial and exponential models to working on approaches for natural radiation noise, I’m motivated by continuous learning and self-improvement.
