Eloy Huidobro

At IHCantabria, I work as a Consultor, bringing computational modeling and quantitative analysis to research. My work includes computational fluid dynamics for coastal hazard modeling with OpenFOAM.

At the University of Heidelberg, I worked as a Particle Physics Researcher on Monte Carlo simulations for detector physics and radiopurity studies using GEANT4.

At Instituto de Física de Cantabria (IFCA, CSIC-UC), I worked as a Researcher. My broader research has also included machine learning for fast simulation using PyTorch and GANs.

I hold an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a BSc in Physics from Universidad de Cantabria. I’m exploring opportunities in quantitative analysis, data science, machine learning, and simulation engineering.
